| HISTORIC ACHIEVEMENTS
BY THE CLUB'S COMPETITIVE TEAM
- Well done to the Level 4 Team who participated
in the recent Regional Team Championships and came 4th.
We were proud of all the girls in the team - Niamh, Lucy
P, Lucy F, India and an injured Olivia, but especially India
and Lucy F for staying on the beam! Well done to India for
landing your first flic on the beam in competition.
- Well done to Hayley Sawyer and Georgia
Key who took part in the Level 5 Competitions on Saturday
23 October. Both girls performed well; it was Georgia's
first competition and she was very nervous on beam, but
wanted to do it all again and Hayley was very pleased with
her bars. Sadly Em and Olivia were unable to compete due
to injuries.
- Congratulations to Bex
on getting a bronze medal in Level 2 on Sunday 3 October.
Well done to our other gymnasts who competed over the weekend
- Niamh, Molly, Lucy & India. See Results
- Metropolitan County Championships - well
done to all our girls who took part in the Annual County
Championships on Sunday 11 July. A special congratulations
to our three medal winners Bess (silver at Level 4), Bex
(bronze at Level 2) and Em (bronze at Level 5). Special
mention for Ashleigh who competed at Level 5 while being
a year too young to compete at Regional events and who came
a very respectable 7th out of 13. Also well done to Lucy
Fennell who did both her upstarts!
- CONGRATULATIONS to Niamh Taylor
on getting the silver medal in Grade 12. Well done also
to all our other gymnasts who competed in Grade 12 - Lucy
